My Sunset Flower

My Sunset Flower  Only blooms at night.  
She faces the falling sun,  
Arms open wide,  
Embracing the Twilight  Who likewise embraces Her  Within His orange glow.  
I’ve seen Her petals  Form the soft smile  
That I love,  
I’ve watched Her eyes open slowly,  
And burn with a passion  
That I have never seen before in anything else.  I’ve seen Her glow and thrive  In Her world of Nightfall,  
Linking herself to her Nighttime lover.  
Nothing can compare to the blossoming beauty  
That I watch night after night.  
And oh, How I’ve lon
I loved writing this poem... I was thinking about my special someone, and how i felt before she was mine... It really killed me to think about that (Cause she's the best thing that ever happened to me, and i won't lie about that, no matter how cliche it sounds) but, i got this great poem idea. ^^ And she was surprised to hear that i felt like that for her a long time before i told her that i did... Lol... but yeah... this is definately one of my favorite poems that i have written. ^^

Swept away and forgottenA rainy day today.  
Even now I still  Note the deep irony  
Of her death in spring.  
A time of new beginnings  For all too many…  
But a time of Nothing More  For only her.  
Through the black lace veils of mourning, I can see the color and vigor return to the world, as it slowly shakes away the dreariness of its long winter slumber… A slumber from which my beloved will never awaken. And now, more than ever, I feel more than a little betrayed by all that surrounds me… The sprouting flowers, the budding leaves… Couples and families smiling and laughing as they make plans for when th Swept away and forgotten

One of those days. Another DayIt's been one of those days.  
Just another day.  
I think to myself  After a few too many hours, and a few too many drinks.  Yet, despite knowing this,  
I quickly pour myself another glass,  
Swirling it gently in my cup  
Before taking a light sip.  
Some days, I can't help but wonder why I even bother with glasses, when I know all too well I'm going to drink the whole bottle, and then some. I turn my intricately designed crystal tumbler over in my hands gently, careful not to spill its contents on the light colored hardwood floor. After a few moments of contemplation, and with a deep sigh, I let it One of those days. Another Day

My Unknown SolaceLeft alone to stare  At the wide expanse  Of shockingly blue sky,  
I can't help but find  An unknown solace  Between the broken winds  And fragrant flowers  That I've surrounded myself with.  
Why is it that  I have come to feel  
So content on my own,  
When so many others  Can think of nothing more  Than finding more people  With which to surround themselves?  
Maybe I'm a bit odd,  
And maybe I don't worry about it  
Quite the way that I should,  But I can't help but feel  
That I just don't care all too much.

Oookay. ^^ Well, I'm just a girl who likes to write alot of poetry and likes to make freinds. ^^

I also have an odd obsession with things like Yaoi, and manga and whatnot. ^^

I love music, and i try to draw things, but it almost never works out. ^^ lol. (i think that there are only two or three things that i have actually drawn on here. ^^ lol)

thats about all i can think of to say about me, other than the fact that i am really nice, and blah blah blah. ^^ lolz. ^^

I haven't really been up to much... I've been trying to think of new poerty, or something for my story, but i am still in my rut... -.- It's rather depressing, but i am sure that i will find my way out of it soon. ^^

Oh. ^^ That sounds cool. ^^ What school u going to??? I started school two weeks ago... >.> I too was waiting for it to start, but when it actually did, i realized that i could have used a bit more time off!!! ^^ Haha. ^^ But thats mainly cause i like, never have time to get on the internet, or write, cause of studying, and doing homework, and my parents/family/friends buggin me all the time. ^^ lolz.

So, what do you do on your campus??? Just wander???
